An up-market housing developer from Cheshire approached Vestra Oak for their latest project. Their brand-new residential development required luxurious 7-Bay Oak Framed Garages.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the estate is set within the grounds of a Grade II listed hall dating from 1612. Therefore the material selection of Oak Frames will serve the 24 new homes with natural practicality and charm.
In the words of the developer: “The architecture of the 14 luxurious homes at Somerford Square follows the local vernacular, and reflects Cheshire’s rich farming heritage. Styled on local agricultural courtyards, each home is constructed from the finest Cheshire brick, with natural slate roofs and timber detailing.”

Vestra Oak worked closely with the developer and contractors to manufacture a stunning set of Oak Garages.
We paid close attention to the vision that the developer had for the estate to ensure the final design would integrate seamlessly with the surrounding architecture.
The results
The striking quality of the European Oak utilised in both sets of garages were a fitting complement to this project.
The images taken 4 years after installation show the beautiful and natural face of ageing, silver Oak.
